MULTI-AWARD WINNING GARDEN DESIGN
Designing gardens with passion and dedication.
As a dedicated and passionate garden designer I will help you realise the potential of your garden or outdoor space and create a true extension of your home.
As a qualified horticulturalist, fine artist and garden designer I can translate your ideas into a working design that fits your needs and budget to provide the outdoor space that works with your home. The ability to combine ecological, horticultural and fine art design principles in each project sets me apart from others. Each project has its own signature whether it be a wildlife, contemporary, country garden and is discovered through time spent on the project and on site to understand the needs and possibilities for each design.
We are becoming increasingly aware of the positive impact of nature on our mental well-being and happiness and this can be enhanced through creative design. Our green spaces are ever more important to us and Mistletoe Garden Design offers a holistic approach with advice before, during and after the project on the maintenance and sustainability aspects of living with a beautiful garden.

A Holiday Spa Garden
This garden is a sloping garden with a holiday vibe. To maximise the garden areas we used tiering to create more flat usable spaces for a young family. The brief was to create a garden which reminds them of their holidays and will be an entertainment hub for friends and family. This garden is due for construction in 2023.
Family Garden in London
A family with young children who love to play outdoors contacted me to say that their new house was wonderful but the children don't go outside so much as they used to in the old house, what can we do to help? We created a new play area and football pitch along with an elegant outdoor gathering space for chilly winter nights. The family enjoy spending time together so we added an outdoor kitchen and breakfast bar along with some chill out hanging chairs. This garden is due to be constructed in late 2023.
Welcoming Wildlife - Yateley
When a garden has become tired it is a great opportunity to sit back and think "What do I want from my garden?" and sometimes the garden is the way it was when you first moved in because that's how it'a always been. This was the case with this lovely garden in Yateley, Hampshire. It was just a large expanse of lawn with narrow borders around the perimeter and very high hedges.
The clients wanted to encourage wildlife into the garden and knew that the open expanse of lawn was not helping. Inspiration has come from many visits abroad and an understanding of the importance of nature in the garden. The garden has been spilt into areas with cover for all kinds of wildlife to flourish.
This garden was constructed in 2023. I am waiting for the plants to knit together before adding the new photos.

Elegant Garden - Frimley Green
Time for a change for this couple. Out with the overbearing tall Yew hedges which enclosed this small garden. No more lawn to maintain, plants are the way to go now. The brief was to create a modern elegant flower filled garden whilst making use of the L-shaped plot. Three separate areas for entertaining are all linked together with a cohesive design. This garden was constructed early winter 2021 and was shortlisted in the APL awards 2023, where we won a gold medal.
East meets West - Mitchett, Surrey
Pocket sized dreams can come true. This garden is 6m x 6m and packs a punch! A fusion of English and Japanese styles gives the owners the calm space they need to relax and spend time with friends. This little garden is designed to reduce the amount of gardening needed but to allow for all year colour and structure.
Elegant Front Garden - Walton on Thames
A wonderful Art Deco house in Walton on Thames needed a front garden to set off the house and make more of the entrance. The garden is only 9m x 12m but it has a lot of interest in structure and planting.
TARMAC TO SANCTUARY - FARNHAM, SURREY
A complete transformation from a dark and uninviting space to a vibrant welcoming family garden. The brief was to create a holiday at home feeling where family and friends could be entertained whilst feeling enclosed and private.
SUTTON SCOTNEY
An enclosing courtyard dividing the rear of the house from the pool area was redesigned to give make an impressive entrance to the garden and pool area combined. The views were opened up and the flow of movement was greatly improved.
WHITE OAKS, YATELEY
A complete re-design of the existing garden has provided the clients with the year-round entertainment and relaxation space they wished for.
